What is a Tummy Tuck?
A tummy tuck is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen while tightening the abdominal muscles for a smoother, more contoured look. It’s especially effective for addressing loose skin and weakened muscles caused by pregnancy, weight fluctuations, or the natural loss of skin elasticity over time. During the procedure, Dr. Jugenburg makes an incision low on the abdomen to access and repair the abdominal wall before removing extra skin and contouring the area. A tummy tuck is not a weight-loss surgery, and it cannot address internal fat/ volume that surrounds your organs.
